UPDATE! The memorial tree has been planted! It is located at the new school complex just to the left of the main high school entrance canopy. It's a great location and is very visible to all who enter the building. The stone has been placed at the base of our tree. It was a nice cermony.
We would like to thank Scott Whitcraft and Lolly Boley for organizing it. Also a BIG thank you to Swan Memorial for the stone, and let's not forget Bill Clifton and VWHS for allowing us the opportunity to remember those classmates.
Anyone interested is Welcome to become involved. It's not as difficult as one might think. I can tell you for certain, it's much easier now than it was 15 yrs ago. Facebook will make organizing the next one a piece of cake! I already know how to reach about half of you at this point :)
